1. Description

The pallets are intended for the manipulation with the frontends of the turntables of the manipulators and the transport to further assembly operations. A cart can always be fitted with up to 4 pcs of frontends, which are fixed by fasteners in the right position. Thanks to the massive frame with handles and swivelling wheels, the cart is easily handled. Each cart must be first tuned according to a template, which sets forth the correct position of the spines and thereby guarantees the required position of individual frontends for the transport of carts.

2. Project Procedure

As per the specifications of the customer, a proposal for the cart’s construction has been drawn up. According to the approved concept, a prototype cart has been made and sent to the customer in Russia. Remarks from the plant have again been worked into the technical documentation and the manufacture of a series of pieces is tuned in such a way as for the product to satisfy the requests of the customer.

The tuning of the carts proceeded after the first delivery, which also included a template. The tem-plate had to be tuned directly according to the manipulators in Russia, and the according to their set-tings, the one’s that had already been delivered were tuned. During tuning, the personnel was trained, and who then performed tuning of carts on their own for further deliveries.
